My name is Fletcher and I’m an independent artist living and working
in Somerville, Massachusetts. I have been fortunate enough to travel to
many amazing places and have developed a sincere appreciation for our
natural surroundings.
I made these note cards to share the places I love with others and hope
you will be inspired by them as much as I am. See my latest images on Flickr.
Through my photography I show nature in a fresh way; purposefully leaving out traces of mankind. I photograph moments of tranquility and amazement in natural subjects to communicate the richness of our world. The visual impression created evokes wonder even if the place is familiar. For me, these images facilitate a connection to nature’s beauty and perfection.
THE NOTE CARDS
Each collection is printed on high quality archival photographic stock. The 5 x 7" fine cotton cards have a unique
texture and feel very substantial in your hands. The images are
printed using a mix of nine inks which are rated to last for over 100
years. There are three different images in each note card set. The
cards are blank inside and come in a clear plastic gift case.
MY PHOTOGRAPHY
I've been taking photographs since purchasing my first camera in 2003.
I shot casually for a couple of years before I started my
concentration in photography at college. I am also formally trained as
a sculptor. In the last few years I have exhibited in numerous shows, including a
solo exhibition in 2009. Learn more about my photography.

QUOTES
This “boundless” landscape is both surreal and theatrical and yet it is a real place. . . perhaps one that many people pass by each day without noticing its beauty." --Lisa Orgler, Artist See what other people are saying about the cards... |
